Quarantine in an RV?

Quarantine in an RV?

First Weeks in San Diego

Arrival in San Diego brought a new challenge. We needed to quarantine from the rest of the world to ensure we didn’t bring a COVID-19 guest along.

My brother and sister-in-law pulled out all the stops. We would stay at my brother’s mother-in-law’s house in the RV they had down on the bottom of their property. With that, we learned what living in a 38-foot motorhome would feel like.

The RV was great. The better part of the deal was access to all the other parts of the property including a pool with a custom slide as well as large areas with random creatures for the kids to hunt.

Wade took to the pool and slide. Amelia took to catching lizards.

In the morning, the kids would do their school work with Desiree. Aaron would work. In the afternoons we did anything to get into the pool. The kids invented a game called Barnicle, where they latch on to a parent in the pool and we have to get them off.
