Change of Scenery
After spending 4 weeks in San Diego, Aaron decided we should do a little trip. The first spot was Big Bear about 3 hours north of San Diego in the San Bernardino Mountains. This is usually a busy skiing area but in the summer it is a bit quieter and a great place to spend a week. The drive took a couple of years off Desiree’s life.
We were lucky to have Nick bring the girls up for some beach time and some off-roading in the Subi which was just upgraded with some trail tires.
Shaun also came up with Mom and Bailey. Shaun needed to rent a boat to survey what waterfront homes he was going to purchase in the next year. The kids all got some driving time in while he researched prices. Wade is not to be trusted with anything powered.
We also tried our hand at fishing. It is clear that their grandfather has spoiled them with catching. They much prefer catching to fishing.
